Privacy Policy
How HyperRoute Intelligence handles customer and operational data.
Information Collected
The platform may store account, company, user, driver, vehicle, load, customer, invoice, document, maintenance, compliance, support, and activity log information.
How Data Is Used
Data is used to operate the platform, provide customer support, maintain security, generate reports, and improve transportation workflows.
Company Separation
Customer data is intended to be separated by company workspace so users only access records connected to their authorized company or platform role.
Third-Party Services
The platform may rely on third-party services for authentication, database hosting, file storage, email, payments, infrastructure, and connected integrations.
QuickBooks Online Integration
A company may connect its own QuickBooks Online account to HyperRoute. When connected, HyperRoute uses that authorization only to create or update Customers, Items, and Invoices in that company's QuickBooks Online account, so that invoices created in HyperRoute can be exported without manual re-entry. HyperRoute does not read, modify, or export any other QuickBooks Online data, and does not share QuickBooks Online data with any other company's workspace. A company can disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time from the Integrations page in HyperRoute, or by removing HyperRoute's access directly within QuickBooks Online's Connected Apps settings; either method stops further data exchange and removes HyperRoute's stored access tokens.
HyperRoute Driver Mobile App
The HyperRoute Driver app for iPhone (currently in Apple App Store review) is intended for use by drivers of companies that use HyperRoute. Once available, it will collect the following, only to operate the service for the driver's company:
- Location: precise location, including in the background, only between the driver tapping On Duty and Off Duty. It is shared with the driver's company (dispatch) to track loads and update customers. Location is not collected while off duty.
- Camera and photos: used only when the driver scans or attaches a POD, bill of lading, or receipt. Images are saved as documents on the driver's load.
- Account and load activity: the driver's sign-in email, load status updates, documents, and expenses they submit.
This data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to track drivers across other companies' apps or websites. Drivers can stop location sharing at any time by going Off Duty or changing the app's location permission in iPhone Settings. To request deletion of driver data, contact the driver's company or support@hyperrouteintelligence.com.
Carrier Payment Information
A company may optionally enter a carrier's tax identification number (EIN or SSN) and bank account and routing numbers, to generate 1099-NEC exports and ACH payment files for that company's own accounting and banking use. These values are encrypted (not stored as plain text) using Supabase Vault, and only the last four digits are ever displayed back in HyperRoute. The full value is decrypted only at the moment it's needed to build a requested export or payment file, by a server-side function running with elevated credentials - it is never sent to or stored by a user's browser, and is never visible to any other company's workspace. A company using these features is responsible for obtaining any authorization required from its own carriers before entering their information, including the signed ACH authorization NACHA's operating rules require before originating a payment to a carrier's bank account.
ACH Payment Files
Where a company generates an ACH payment file through HyperRoute, that file is a data export for the company to submit to its own bank - HyperRoute does not transmit funds, originate ACH entries, or have any relationship with the company's bank. The company remains solely responsible for reviewing the file and for its own compliance with NACHA's operating rules and its bank's requirements before relying on it for a real payment.
1099-NEC Exports
Where a company generates a 1099-NEC export through HyperRoute, that export is a data file for the company to use with its own accountant or filing service - HyperRoute does not file anything with the IRS or any state tax authority on a company's behalf, and does not calculate or remit backup withholding. The company remains responsible for its own tax reporting and withholding obligations.
Dispo, the HyperRoute AI Assistant
Dispo is an optional assistant that can suggest next steps and answer questions. It only suggests; people make every decision. When you ask Dispo a question, the question and the company data needed to answer it (limited to what your account is allowed to see) are sent to Anthropic, which provides the AI model, to produce a reply. Your recent conversations are kept in your own browser and are cleared when you log out.
If Dispo cannot answer a question, it flags the question for the HyperRoute team. A flagged question is saved with Dispo's reply, your company and user account, your role, the page you were on, and the time, so we can follow up and improve the product. Only authorized HyperRoute staff can read flagged questions. Questions Dispo answers without flagging are not saved by HyperRoute, except for a count of usage used to manage cost.
Data Retention
Operational data may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, billing, backup, or legal reasons.
